Combat Stress is the UK’s leading mental health charity for Veterans, providing specialist clinical treatment and welfare support. Founded at the end of the First World War, Combat Stress has since helped more than 100,000 ex-Service men and women with mental health conditions, and is today supporting almost 6,000 – more than at any time in the charity’s 96 year history.

Combat Stress treats conditions including Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), depression and anxiety. To help Veterans rebuild their lives the charity provides a range of free services including a specialist PTSD Intensive Treatment Programme at three treatment centres in the UK, an Outpatients assessment service, practical and clinical support in the community and a 24-hour Helpline (0800 138 1619).
